Port Alberni Service Review
BC Transit and the City of Port Alberni implemented a number of transit service changes in August 2012. In order to measure the effectiveness of these recent transit service changes, BC Transit conducted post-implementation surveys with transit riders in the fall of 2012. The results of the survey revealed that customers had a number of significant concerns with the service changes. Based on the review of the survey results and feedback received from the operating company a number of changes have been recommended below to address customer concerns. The recommendations were approved in January by council and will be implemented in early July 2013. See the survey results here and recommendations to council here.
