Creating Campbell River's Transit Future takes a look at how transit works today, and creates a vision of what transit could look like 25 years from now. Transit Future will also lay out the steps to help create more livable communities and a more sustainable future in Campbell river.

A draft of the Campbell River Region Plan is being reviewed by Campbell River City staff and council. A formal presentation on the Transit Future plan will be made to council later this month.
June 14, 2011: Heres what we Heard from You!
The Transit Future bus visited the Pier St. Market and Mariners Square last weekend. Thanks to the more than 370 of you visited the bus and gave us your comments.
Here are some of the major themes from the online survey and comment board:
- Support for extending evening service to all days of the week
- Increased frequency between major destinations
- Improved service to Courtney-Comox
- Service to the airport and ferry terminals
- Use of smaller buses when appropriate
