Ambassador Program
The role of Transit Ambassadors is to educate people on how to use their local transit system. Transit ambassadors can be found at activities in your community, such as parades, trade fairs and other community events. Ambassadors also teach students about public transit through special programs aimed at elementary, middle school and college students. These programs include transit history, passenger skills, life skills and transit's McGruff Safe House Program. Call Transit Information at 382-6161 to ask about community outreach or the Ambassador Program in your community. |
