Increased Service on Major Routes

A goal for 2008 is to increase service on the major bus routes in the Victoria region. Service increases will be targeted to improve evening service. The long-term goal is to create a Frequent Bus Network by incorporating the following list of routes, to provide a guaranteed service every 15 minutes from 6am to 10pm Monday to Saturday.

Depending on budget, we anticipate offering this service on:

• 4 Hillside
• 6 Royal Oak - Esquimalt
• 11 Gorge Uplands
• 14 University - Craigflower
• 26 Dockyard - UVIC
• 27 / 28 Gordon Head / Majestic
• 30 / 31 Carey Glanford James Bay

Before the Victoria Regional Transit Commission makes decisions on the Fall 2008 service, it receives a list of recommendations from Victoria Planning. We would like your input before we prepare that report. Complete the form below to let us know what you need to make transit an even better way to travel. All comments received by April 2008, will be provided to the Commission at its meeting in June 2008.
