Victoria - Additional Trips Added on Routes 70x & 72

Two trips have been added to the Victoria schedule, effective September 2:

  • Monday to Friday Route 70x Trip Leaves downtown at 7:15am and arrives at Swartz Bay at 8:09am

  • Monday to Friday Route 72 Trip leaves Swartz Bay at 5pm and arrives in Downtown at 6:12pm

Effective September 2, 2014 New routing on #15 UVic/Esquimalt. This route will now carry through in to Esquimalt via Esquimalt Road. Passengers wishing to continue on to Royal Oak will now transfer downtown to the new Route 6 Royal Oak. Click here for a complete map of the updated #15 (view 77.7k PDF)

Effective September 2, 2014 Route 6 passengers will need to transfer downtown to the Route 15 to continue to Esquimalt. Service on both routes will be frequent throughout the day to minimize wait times between buses. This change improves destination choices for Esquimalt residents who will now be on a route that provides access to UVic, Camosun-Lansdowne and Royal Jubilee Hospital. Butchart Gardens Fireworks: Extra buses will operate on fireworks nights. They will be departing 1 to 1.5 hours after the start of the fireworks show. Check the Butchart Gardens website for show times.
