valid as of June 30, 2010. Fare ZonesThe
entire Victoria Regional Transit System, from Sooke to Sidney, is one fare zone
and requires a single fare. TransfersTransfers
are proof of payment that tells the transit operator you have paid your fare.
A transfer allows a passenger to use more than one bus for a period of up to 60
minutes. When you pay your fare, ask your transit operator for a transfer. If
you need to use more than one bus to complete your trip and are using cash or
tickets as fare payment, you will need a transfer to board the connecting bus.
Please show your transfer to the driver, face up, with time showing. Transfer
Policies - Transfers are issued only at time you pay your fare. This
is your proof of payment, so keep it for your entire trip.
- Show your transfer
clearly to the driver every time you get on board.
- Your transfer is valid
on any route on the date of issue and allows transfers, including return trips,
for a period of up to 60 minutes.
- Your transfer will expire at the time
torn on the front of the transfer.
- Transfers are not transferable to anyone
other than the person who purchased the transfer.
- Transfers are not valid
as fare payment at the Swartz Bay ferry terminal bus stop.
Youth
FaresA discount fare is offered to anyone 18 years and younger. Youth

you appear 19 years or older, the transit operator will ask you for proof of age.
ID includes: driver's license, passport, birth certificate, BC ID, CareCard or
equivalent ID validated by any national, provincial or state government agency.
