Health Connections: Merritt and Area Transit

Health Connections is a partnership that provides you with transportation options and increases your access to non-emergency medical appointments.

To take advantage of the transit service, you must call 250-376-7525 in Merritt or 1-888-376-7525 to arrange your trip. Transit staff will let you know the exact time of pick up.

When scheduling medical appointments with a doctor, let the receptionist know that you will be using Health Connections. Although medical appointments have priority, everyone is eligible to use this service if space is available.

Service on Tuesday : Merritt to Kamloops

The bus will leave Library at 8:30am, Hospital at 8:40am, arriving in Kamloops at 10:00am.

If you have mobility difficulties, special door-to-door service will be available.

The bus will leave Kamloops at 2:45pm, arriving in Merritt at 4:30pm.

Service on Thursday : Merritt to Kelowna

The bus will leave Merritt Library at 8:30am, Hospital at 8:40am, arriving in Kelowna at 10:45am.

If you have mobility difficulties, special door-to-door service will be available.

The bus will leave Kelowna at 1:30pm, arriving in Merritt at 3:00pm.

One-way fare $5.00. Have your exact fare ready as the driver does not carry change.
