The handyDART service is for persons who have a disability that is sufficiently severe that the person is unable to use conventional transit service without assistance.

This service is provided to and from accessible building entrances.

You must be registered with the handyDART office before you can use the service.

In Clearwater, this service is operated by Yellowhead Community Services.

Registration

There is no fee to register for the handyDART Service.

To register call 674-3935 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. Please leave a message if the dispatcher is not available.

When you call, the dispatcher will ask your name, mailing address and telephone number, then send you an application form. Please return your completed form to the office.

9:35 - 10:30 a.m. and
2:06 - 3:00 p.m.

Booking a Trip

To book a trip call 674-3935. If the dispatcher is not available at the time you called, someone will call you back to confirm your booking.

Please call at least 24 hours ahead of your scheduled pickup time.

Cancelling a Trip

If your plans change, and you no longer need your reserved seat, please call 674-3935 as soon as possible so that the dispatcher can schedule a trip for someone else.

Fares

All passengers: $1.50 plus .50¢ per zone. For example, a trip from Vavenby to Clearwater is $2.00.
