Population growth and transportation challenges in the Central Fraser Valley region have created the need for a comprehensive and long-range plan to guide the operation and future development of the transit system.

The Central Fraser Valley Transit Business Plan reviews population forecasts, community development forecasts and the current transit system. Based on this information it proposes service concepts and supporting strategies to increase the system's effectiveness and bolster its position as a key part of Abbotsford and Mission and their transportation networks.

The Plan will be presented to the Abbotsford - Mission Joint Transit Committee at its March 19, 2004 meeting.
