BC Transit issues Requests for Proposals (RFPs), tenders, and Requests for Expressions of Interest (REIs) to acquire goods and services. Details vary between requests and in some cases proposers will be required to obtain a separate information package. Specific information will be attached to each request. In addition to general RFPs, BC Transit also issues RFPs and REIs to manage transit systems. Requests for Proposals, Requests for Expressions of InterestITQ 08-07 Portable HoistsIssued: March 31, 2008Closing: April 14, 2008 at 2:00:59 pm PSTBC Transit is a Crown Corporation of the Province of British Columbia responsible for coordinating the delivery of transit services in the Province outside the Greater Vancouver area. Its mandate includes planning, funding, marketing, constructing and operating, either directly or indirectly, the Victoria Regional Transit System and 83 local transit systems in communities throughout the province. BC Transit owns and manages a fleet of over 850 buses of various types and is responsible for the maintenance of these buses at each of its facilities.
BC Transit is currently looking to purchase one (1) two fixed post, one (1) four post and 2 (two) six post above ground portable hoists and one (1) drive-on four post hoist. The hoists will be delivered by the successful bidder(s) to the following anticipated locations in the province of British Colombia. RFP 08-03 Design and Construction Management Services - Whistler Transit FacilityIssued: February 28, 2008Closing: March 27, 2008 at 2:00:59 pm PSTBC Transit is a provincial crown agency providing planning, marketing, fleet and funding support for all transit systems in British Columbia, outside the Greater Vancouver region.
BC Transit requires engineering and design services for the design and construction of a transit operating facility in Whistler, British Columbia.
This RFP is soliciting a full Consultant services package to take the project from preliminary design through commissioning to include, but not limited to site services and design and construction field services for the facility that will meet the needs of BC Transit and Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) in supporting the transit service requirements in Whistler for the next twenty five (25) years from 2008 through to 2033. The method of construction delivery will be determined in discussion with the selected consultant. Time is of the essence in delivering this project so all methods of delivery that can expedite construction will be considered. The desired occupancy date is late summer of 2009.
